Grand Knight’s Message – Brother Knights, along with the nicer weather, we are starting to experience, comes the seasonal responsibilities. It's time to do the yard work, run
the children or grand-children to their activities and maybe even plan a vacation. Our Brotherhood also has different responsibilities as the seasons change. This is our
"Election of Officers" time of year. It was brought to a motion and passed at our last meeting to retain all elected and appointed officers for another year. Congratulations and
thank you for a job well done. I am looking forward to continue working with you for another year. We are only one member away from achieving Star Council for this year.
To make it easier for recruited men to receive their First Degree, we need to get our First Degree team certified. You do not have to be an officer to be a part of the team. If you
can help out our council in this area we would be thankful. Terry Dunne has been gracious enough to open his house to us for a Knights of Columbus family picnic on June 21.
Details will be worked out at the next meeting, please bring any suggestions or recommendations for discussion. If anyone has suggestions for other K. of C. or family activities
please contact our social committee members, Mark Grossbauer or Brian Philip. God Bless. - John W. Kelly, G.K.
Rose
and Rosary Presentations – Monthly presentations of a
rose, Rosary and Rosary ring to the mothers of infants being baptized are held
at Holy Family. Volunteers are
always welcome to conduct or assist in conducting the presentations. Call Terry
